Old news, however I neglected to share this before, but I was reminded of it today. Having been raised in Iowa, this touches me deeply. It reminds me that no matter what I have to say negatively about my home state, Iowa supports marriage equality and what Sen. Gronstal says underlines why we will have our equality soon. Knowing what we’ve been through lately and how we’ve been faltering and lost in our path to equality over the past couple months, I want to remind everyone that if words like this can come out of an Iowan, remember what we can all do—together.
